CHARITY WORK REWARDED
In recognition of his many years of charity work ex-employee, Ian Buchanan was selected to carry the Olympic Torch on its third leg of the local relay in Torrington on 21st May. He was nominated for the honour by a family friend Isabelle Kenny.

During his 13 years at HepcoMotion as a stores man and production machinist, Ian devoted much of his spare time to charity fundraising. To date he has run 16 London Marathons and is currently using his athletic talents to support the work of the Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF).
Speaking about his torch run Ian said: “This was the most amazing experience of my life. On the day I felt so proud I could burst!”
