PRECISION RING AND TRACK – THE MOST ADAPTABLE AND FLEXIBLE
Ref: HEP\308
Smart Cart is a clever system designed to deliver an intelligent and mobile weighing cart to a succession of product feed stations in accordance with a pre-specified ‘recipe’. It allows a broad choice of ingredients – often in small quantities – to be dosed automatically and accurately into a single weighing cart.

SLEEK PROFILE DRIVEN UNIT …provides off-the-shelf linear motion for steam cleaner
Ref: HEP\299
Thanks to some innovative thinking by the consultancy Keith Handy Design, hygiene-conscious manufacturers can now make substantial cost-savings on the labour-intensive process of conveyor belt cleaning. Primarily aimed at the food-processing sector, the company’s mobile Jet System not only automates the task but also enables mesh belt conveyors of different sizes and dimensions to be served by a single unit. This makes Jet System a highly a cost-effective investment even by small manufacturers.

Design Considerations for Heavy Automation and Pick and Place Hepco Heavy Duty Systems
Ref: HEP\325
When designing systems for heavy handling and pick and place applications, choosing the right linear motion solution can be overwhelming. With such an extensive selection available, the decision often comes down to wheel versus recirculating ball bearing technologies.

EXPANDED LINEAR RANGE HAS GREATER CAPACITY … and is even more cost-effective
Ref: HEP\315
DualVee Motion Technology™ - DMT – has been successfully employed in industrial linear guidance applications for over 30 years. As an integral part of the HepcoMotion® product programme, it has proved a popular choice for anti-friction guidance mechanisms, typically in pick-and-place units and packaging machinery that do not require the ultra-high precision offered by the HepcoMotion® GV3 System.

BEAM ASSEMBLY ENSURES UNINTERRUPTED PAPER PRODUCTION
Ref: HEP\305
The volumes involved in the production of paper demands most of the work be undertaken on fully automated machines and systems. As any failure on these machines could have serious commercial and financial consequences a major manufacturer in the sector has installed a manual back-up assembly for the edge-trimming process; this purpose-built unit was supplied by HepcoMotion®.

TOTAL PROCESSING & PACKAGING 2007 15th – 18th May 2007, NEC Stand no: 4461
Ref: HEP\317
Applications in packaging machinery demand utmost reliability with no downtime. HepcoMotion® linear motion components remain the popular choice due to their inherent strength and long life. One major machine builder in this sector has recently re-specified HepcoMotion® having opted for a cheaper alternative but found that the slide system failed when the machine jammed. The cost of replacement, downtime and service engineers soon outweighed the saving.
