Celebrating National Apprentice Week (14th – 18th March), HepcoMotion is pleased to announce it will be holding its first Apprenticeship Open Day at its headquarters in Tiverton on Friday 18th March from 10-1pm. Aimed at students who are leaving school or college this year and considering applying for an apprenticeship, the open day provides students with an opportunity to come and see for themselves what Hepco’s industry-leading apprenticeship scheme offers.
An informal and informative morning, students will learn about HepcoMotion, a world-leading manufacturer of linear motion systems based in Tiverton. Students will have the opportunity to look around Hepco’s facilities, meet some of their current apprentices and speak to some of their former apprentices, many of who are now in management positions.
Students will also enjoy a detailed tour of the factory, including Hepco’s dedicated apprentice training area where apprentices spend their first year learning engineering skills such as milling, turning, bench fitting, CAD modelling and CNC programming.
With a HepcoMotion Engineering Apprenticeship, apprentices will learn the skills needed to become a fully qualified engineer and begin their career with industry-leading experience behind them. All apprentices are guaranteed a job upon completion. Indeed over one third of Hepco’s senior management are former apprentices, highlighting the value Hepco place on apprentices.
