Reporting to the Sales Operations Director, we are recruiting for a Factored Product Specialist to join our team in Tiverton, Devon.
This exciting and interesting development opportunity will focus on the enhancing and expanding our range of non-Hepco manufactured ranges.
Responsibilities:
- Working well with suppliers to enhance training and product knowledge, ensuring competitiveness and profitability
- Consider new products to be added to our range, developing business cases for inclusion
- Building relationships with suppliers and creating launch documentation for additional ranges
- Involves some requirement for travel, both domestically and internationally to visit exhibitions, suppliers and customers
Skills:
- Strong Communication skills to deal with people at all levels of the organisation
- Able to work well on own initiative, identifying areas for attention, setting own targets and priorities
- Research skills to find potential suppliers, competitors and price references
- Analytical/mathematical skills to properly assess the impact of pricing policy
- IT Skills, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Customer relationship management software experience
Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification. Engineering background, or business studies with an interest in engineering, Commercial bias and desire for career progression, interest or experience in direct sales
Hours of Work:
Monday – Friday 8:30 – 17:00
37.5-hours per week.
