Project Engineer

Focusing on designing and manufacturing jigs and fixtures required by Hepco processes. The roll will support the Process engineers and the wider team at Hepco to continually make improvements to all process at Hepco.

• Perform TPMs on machinery and tools used in the projects area

• Audit tools and order replacements as required

• Work with the process engineers and manufacturing team to understand problems

• Work on draft concepts through to full designs to solve problems

• Communicate progress with the team

• Produce drawings of parts

• Manufacture parts to drawing

• Install/implement jigs and fixtures

• Using CNC machinery

• EDM machinery

• Practical problem solving & analytical skills

• Basic IT skills – MS suite, especially teams

• Using Solid Works (CAD)

• Written and verbal communication skills with team members and the wider manufacturing team

Mon – Thu 7.00am to 4.00pm
Friday 7.00am to 12.00pm

39 hours per week

The successful applicants will be flexible over working hours and willing to undertake shift working should this be a requirement on completion of their apprenticeship and may differ to a standard Monday to Friday day shift.
