Marking 25 years in Tiverton, HepcoMotion celebrated in style with a fun day for all employees and their family. Held at Hepco’s headquarters at Lowman Way, Tiverton, approximately 250 people attended enjoying a steel drum band, freshly cooked pizza, a hearty barbecue and entertainment for the children.
For the first time, Hepco opened up its factory, offering factory tours for families to see first-hand where their relatives work and what they do. The factories tours were well received by all and provided a unique opportunity for staff to share their engineering passion.
Hepco also offered employees the chance to win a hot air balloon ride in the ‘Hepco’ hot air balloon. Tickets were raffled, with a total of £300 raised and being donated to the National Society for Deaf Children, Michael Sobel Hospice and Temwa project. Three lucky winners were picked on the day and they look forward to flying above Tiverton over the next few weeks.
The bouncy castle and glitter tattoos were well received by the children, as was the giant cupcake and accompanying mini cupcakes all elegantly decorated in Hepco’s corporate blue. A good day was had by all on one of the hottest days of the year.
Hepco’s Chairman, Giles Forster says “We wanted to take this opportunity to thank all our employees for their hard work and contribution to our success. A quarter of a century in Tiverton is an important milestone and a celebratory event seemed the perfect way to mark this achievement”.
Hepco re-located from London to larger premises in Tiverton in 1991, and the business has continued to grow over this time, becoming a world-leader manufacturer of linear motion systems. Hepco employs approximately 200 people at its Tiverton offices, with further offices in Germany, Spain, France, Nederlands, China and Korea.
