Following the completion of my apprenticeship with HepcoMotion in 1993, I spent five years working as a CNC programmer in our factory in Tiverton. Following this experience I joined the technical Sales team.
Having over twenty years of experience working for Hepco I can quickly and confidently offer our customer’s the best solution for their linear requirements.
My current position is hugely satisfying and varied. No two days are the same, which means the job never becomes boring. It is very pleasing to be able to provide a solution to our customer’s.
Even though Hepco is a large international company it still feels like a family business. Hepco is an excellent company to work for providing many types of engineering positions with the opportunity of further training and progression.

I joined the company in 2005 as an apprentice and completed an HNC and my foundation degree in mechanical engineering. On completion of my apprenticeship and studies I joined HepcoMotion’s Research and Development Department as a Design Assistant.
I enjoy the variety of my job – no two days are the same. I enjoy knowing that the material I produce helps our customers to better understand our innovative products. Because I started at the bottom as an apprentice I have a better understanding of the company and products, which helps me to produce more relevant information and animations to help our customers.
Although HepcoMotion is a global company there is a really friendly family feel to the workplace. Hepco is a really good company to work for, they look after their staff and offer lots of opportunities for training and progression if you want it!

I joined Hepco as an Advanced Apprentice in Aug 1999. Following my four year apprenticeship I was employed as a junior projects engineer, and quickly progressed to become head of the project engineering team. In March 2008 I was appointed to the position of Technical Quality and Projects Manager. This dealt with internal and external quality issues throughout the business. I later became involved in Production and since 2014 I have been responsible for Production at Hepco’s Tiverton Factory.
The training I have received throughout my time at HepcoMotion has, and does, enable me to work in a manner that benefits both the customer and the business. HepcoMotion’s products are unique and with a focus on constant innovation, we are always looking to improve and grow.
What I enjoy most about HepcoMotion is the family aspect of the business, not only is it a family owned company but it also has a family type atmosphere throughout.
Come and join us! These are exciting times to be part of HepcoMotion and if given the opportunity I would recommend anybody to come on board.

I have had a long and varied career at HepcoMotion. I started in Sept 1995 as a modern apprentice where I worked in nearly every department and section in the company.
After I finished my apprenticeship I worked in a Technical Sales Position before becoming a Technical Buyer. This position led onto Deputy Purchasing Manager and now Purchasing Manager.
Because I have had the privilege of working in most departments within Hepco, I have had first hand experience of what a customer requires when it comes to customer service. I also have first hand manufacturing knowledge so I am able to have technical discussions with the suppliers about what it is we want and why.
Hepco continues to take on apprentices every single year and without this we would not be where we are today. The company looks after every employee very well and encourages employees to reach bigger and better things.
The opportunities are here for the right people. The Company is growing but still has that family feel about it, it’s a safe and loyal company with good people working for it.
