Production Planning Engineer

Skills Required:

  • Creating a method of manufacture for customer requirements consistent with Hepco’s manufacturing processes.
  • Producing manufacturing drawings; therefore, good technical communication skills will be required.
  • Interaction with Production personnel at all levels, to ensure orders are correctly manufactured to customer delivery expectations.

 

Pre-Requisites:

Ideally, candidates will be computer literate and hold either a Mechanical Engineering Qualification or have served a Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship.  However, full training on all aspects of the Hepco product range, the Syspro computer systems and our manufacturing processes, will provided.

Scope

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician with a background in plant and engineering equipment.  Previous experience of working for an engineering manufacturer would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be able to create and document designs using CAD tools, to identify where calculations and tests are required, and to perform and document these calculations and tests.  They will exhibit a high degree of technical competence, computer literacy, and have a strong work ethic.  They will also have good written and verbal communication skills.

 

The position will require the use of SolidWorks and AutoCAD CAD programs, and experience of these packages would be an advantage, although training will be given to candidates experienced with other design tools.

Scope

CNC Machinist Weekend Days

We are looking to recruit a CNC Machinist to join our CNC manufacturing cell, operating large format CNC machine centres.

 

Scope

You will be responsible for operating CNC machines.  Loading and running programs through prove out according to the tools list and works instructions, producing a valid first-off component and having it verified, loading and operating machines to meet desired quantities, conducting in-process inspection, checking against drawings and specifications to ensure they are made accurately and to the highest standards.

 

Skills

  • Minimum 2-years previous experience in setting and operating CNC machines.
  • Working knowledge of controls, such as: Hurco, Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain.
  • Experience of reading and understanding engineering drawings and tolerances.
  • Proficiency in a range of measuring equipment and inspection techniques.
  • A high level of IT literacy, including MS Windows and Office.
  • CNC setting skills would be an advantage.

 

Hours of Work

Friday – Sunday:    6.00am – 6.00pm

30-minutes for lunch.

36-hours per week.
