Cleaner / Janitor

The Role:

This is a full time position of 39 hours per week.  Assisting generally to keep our offices and factory, clean, tidy and safe.

 

Main Tasks:

To undertake cleaning of the office and factory facilities to include:

  • General furnishings
  • Vacuuming / floor cleaning
  • Public areas, canteens and tearooms
  • Toilets and washrooms
  • General duties as required

 

Breaks

10 minutes tea break

30 minutes lunch break

Production Planning Engineer

Skills Required:

  • Creating a method of manufacture for customer requirements consistent with Hepco’s manufacturing processes.
  • Producing manufacturing drawings; therefore, good technical communication skills will be required.
  • Interaction with Production personnel at all levels, to ensure orders are correctly manufactured to customer delivery expectations

Pre-Requisites:

Ideallu, candidates will be computer literate and hold either a Mechanical Engineering Qualification or have served a Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship.  However, full training on all aspects of the Hepco product range, the Syspro computer systems and out manufacturing processes, will provided.

CNC Turner Weekend Nights

Scope:

You will be responsible for setting and operating vertical turning centres along with other large format ring grinding/turning machines.  Loading and running programs through prove out according to the tools list and works instructions, producing a valid first-off component and having it verified, loading and operating machines to meet desired quantities, conducting in-process inspection, checking against drawings and specification ns to ensure they are made accurately and to the highest standards.

 

Skills:

  • Minimum 2-years previous experience in setting and operating CNC machines.
  • Minimum 2-years milling and turning experience.
  • Fully conversant in Fanuc controls.
  • Experience in reading and understanding engineering drawings and tolerances.
  • Proficiency in a range of measuring equipment and inspection techniques.
  • A high level of IT literacy, including MS Windows and Office.

Hours of Work

Friday - Sunday6.00pm - 6.00am

Multi Skilled Project Engineer

Purpose of Role

Maximise plant availability through timely intervention and delivery of products.  To deliver the required level of engineering compliance, ensuring safety, quality and cost standards are adhered to and delivered at all levels of the site.  Assist the Engineering Manager in educating the Operations Team in regards of best practice and safe operation of plant.

Experience:

  • Electrical bias 16th & 17th Edition.
  • Mechanical skills.
  • Safe systems of work.
  • Plant knowledge.
  • Electrical control systems knowledge (Drives, SCADA, PLC).
  • Understand and report route causes of lost time incidents.
  • LEAN & Six Sigma knowledge.
  • Industry recognised engineering qualifications in electrical and/or mechanical engineering.
  • Proven track record of delivering the above in a relevant manufacturing environment.

Hours of Work

Monday – Thursday7.00am – 4.00pm, 30-minutes for lunch.

PR Officer Germany

Based in Feucht, Germany

 

Scope of Role:

As PR Officer you will be to required create and release corporate PR including case studies, press releases and articles when opportunities arise, you will also be required to coordinate the PR content for our branch offices in France, Spain and Benelux.  An integral part of your role you will be to build strong relationships with the press and ensure that all content is translated correctly and promotes the Company in a positive manner.

 

Skills Required:

  • Marketing related degree is preferred.
  • Experienced PR/Copy Writing professional.
  • Must be fluent in English and German reading and writing; other languages are advantageous but not essential.
  • Previous experience of writing about technical or engineering based products/services.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Confidence to build relationships with journalists.
  • Based in Germany but willing to travel to the UK and attend industry relevant exhibitions as part of the role.
  • Ability to work independently and on your own initiative.
  • Photography and/or filming experience is advantageous.

Duties will include:

  • Copy writing.
  • Translations.
  • German PR creation.
  • Liaising with German editors/journalists.
  • Meeting with customers and Sales Engineers to create content for German, Austrian and Swiss PR.
  • Assist with PR distribution across the global markets, including liaising with press in other markets.
  • Managing the German language social media networks.
  • Prepare and plan PR for the German market in conjunction with the UK based Marketing Manager.
  • Keep accurate records of all PR generated and sharing this with the Companies Directors and Sales Team.

Further Details:

You will be reporting to the Branch Sales Office Supervisor on a day to day basis but ultimately you will report to the UK based Marketing Manager.  You will be required to work closely with our UK based PR Officer to ensure content is released consistently to the same calibre and within the required time scales.  You will also be required to work closely with the German Sales Manager and his Team of Sales Engineers.
