HepcoMotion to showcase the benefits of combining technologies at SPS

At the forthcoming SPS, the international trade show for the automated industry, HepcoMotion is pleased to demonstrate how its products are particularly suited to satisfy the needs of the automated industry today.  The trade show takes place in Nuremberg, Germany from the 26th to 28th of November 2019.

HepcoMotion is pleased to exhibit a demonstration unit created by Stäubli, a leading robotics manufacturer. In an extremely powerful pick and place system, the unit highlights the power of HepcoMotion´s GFX linear guide system when used in conjunction with Beckhoff’s eXtended Transport System (XTS) and Stäubli’s TS2-60 SCARA and the TX2 robotics arm. It showcases the abilities of top technologies when combined together.

HepcoMotion’s high quality GFX linear guidance system was specifically developed to fit the linear motor system from Beckhoff.  Reflecting the needs of the automation industry which requires ever faster and more flexible applications, the GFX system has gone from strength to strength. HepcoMotion’s GFX system is modular and therefore able to fit almost any desired track shape, making it highly versatile. GFX offers a maximum speed of up to 4m/s and a load range up to 50 N, making it possible to use the extremely powerful Beckhoff XTS for heavier loads. Jointly, these two systems are able to deal with higher payloads at great speeds, while maintaining absolute precision.
